It is still very difficult to translate tasting notes...this one is from the september 08 issue of the wellknown Revue des vins de France and  gave a note of 16 (great wines are noted 15,5 to 17) to the riesling Grand Cru Wineck Schlossberg 2004 and a compliment to big potentiel of the wine estate of Katzenthal". Now in french: "Issu d'un terroir granitique, ce riesling droit, offre une grande tension et une pureté cristalline, la matière est profilée, ciselée et enthousiasme par sa grande précision de saveurs. L'acidité et les notes d'agrumes ne feront pas peur à un poisson de mer aux épices. Ce domaine de Katzenthal en biodynamie possède un grand potentiel.
